Jason Manzon is a digital media artist whose works are engaged in color theory and abstraction. Each piece breathes life through different color combinations, organic forms, and shapes that are constructed through the ideology of color theory and abstraction. Whether representational or not, his works create a colorful and fluid atmosphere that guides the viewer's eyes throughout each piece. Color palettes from nature such as earth tones, warm sunsets, and vibrant orange sand dunes are some of the many inspirations that can be seen in his work. He works in digital media because it allows him to express his ideas on programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
What inspires Jason is the connection between reality and the digital world. Incorporating the user, nature, and energy with the digital world is a recurring theme that can be seen in his works. He loves to create artworks on digital media platforms because he believes that it is a constantly evolving medium and can be used to share and create art in many different ways. Jason is also an illustrator that works in traditional and digital mediums such as graphite, ink, charcoal, and digital. He is currently learning to transfer his skills from the traditional mediums such as graphite drawings on canvas paper to create more digital works that he draws directly on his tablet with Photoshop and Illustrator.
