Lucid Dream ▷▶

This art work's goal is to give the user freedom in choosing their own characters whether it's serious or funny. The story follows the user as they fall asleep in class one day and dreams. The user is then put into an event where these characters are randomly inputed and interact with you and the user is supposed to feel an emotion. The user then chooses 1 of 4 emotions for all story events and then is evaluated on what they mostly felt. The user has an option to contest or accept this evaluation.

Medium: Web Based Art

The 1st time I started drawing was in elementary. I started making short funny comics for my friends then advanced to animation and storytelling in high school and college. If I can get people feel and emotion through my art, then I have made a successful one.

Cole Pergerson

Cole Pergerson creates computer games that tell stories through gameplay and engages the player with thoughtful challenges. Instead of writing a complete story, Cole lets the player create their own story, by playing the game. Every challenge is a critical point of an incomplete story and it is up to the player to finish it. For Cole, gameplay isn't just a set of fun actions, it is a language that allows players to tell their own story.
